grandparents coming...

june 1 to late Oct .... :) daddy and mommy thinking what kind of trips to plan for them and may as well for the in-laws parents to go together :)

no genetic blood test

why? because the insurance company said there is one big requirement to qualify for genetic blood test - the patient has to have cancer already. the first question popped up in mommy's mind was -- if one already has cancer, why bother having the test? the reason of having the test is to have more preventive ways to avoid one to have cancer...

maybe this is God's answer too -- don't worry, He says.

back from washington, dc

it was a short, yet tiring trip. Not relaxing... a lot of walking. energyless on the 3rd night... but it's great - mommy likes the mango lassi from george town, the lincoln memorial, with very peaceful feeling sitting , looking at the calm water around. national zoo is another surprise - pandas so close-up

Got 3 new family members. all turtles... turtle backpack and two parrot-like twin turtles.

mommy tested her newest badminton racket before the "Scheduled" surprise day. Loves it. Very good indeed.

point defiance zoo & aquarium

peacocks, wolves, polar bear, whales, otters, reindeer, penguin, elephants, tigers, .... more animals than expected. it seems to have be renovated.

the most interesting scene - saw the elephants pee (like shower head...) and poo poo (huge size! wow!)

met up with donna and another primary schoolmate last week - and for the first time, finally, gave out brenda's memorial booklet to these long-time friends. the booklet has her favorite song in it - 全因為你

it's been 6 months since last heard/sang this song. heard it again today in worship, with donna's sharing that mentioned slightly of her.... a lot of emotions. the first and only song ever sang to brenda... sang so often at hospice care for her, and then, her funeral, her memorial service... Still in tears.

angry mommy

how can you do that? hit and run? mommy is really angry..... her car is hit again... how? scratches on side mirror and passenger doors, and wheel cover broke and fell off, and scraches around the wheel and paint wears off the side? hello? do you know how to drive? and do you know that you should not hit and run? going to hunt you down!!!

celebrated grand-ma's bday at an indian restaurant last night. food was great. esp like the vegetable nan.
