so, i went to shop for a gift for a friend's bridal shower...

my friend is very tiny - so after i picked a style, i asked the saleslady for an XS - and she looked at me, paused, and said...

that would be too small or tight for you (!!!!!)

after a while, i was looking at a diff style that this saleslady recommended - and when i decide to go with that as a gift too, and since that saleslady walked away so i had to ask another saleslady for a S .. and we both walked to the rack and indeed found a S hanging there on the top rack. So, to be polite, i apologized to her that i didn't look enough before I asked her... and, ha! she said...

you probably are too short to see it (!!!!!)

WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS ???

it was a long long time since i watched a dvd .... alex got this from freddy's since it was on sale - and i enjoyed it very much.

it's been a while that i wasn't able to relax becuz i was busy preparing for a change - i'm thankful that things are all over finally and God has watched over me thru the whole process and put a lot of angels around me to help. i truly felt being surrounded by love.

almost a week, but still fighting the battle....

fever and sore throat are finally gone, but what follows is this nasty coughing. i sound like a man sometimes ;) and the running nose seems to have gone worse too !!!

oh, weird weather in seattle. Hail again!!! alex was doing some yard work in the middle of the rain - and it turned into hail couple times!!! what's wrong with seattle's weather?

so, why doing yard work in the rain? lately, our neighbor's tree has grown so big (and widely spreaded) that it has covered some of our bushes and extended into our yard for probably 10-15 feet. It's too much that alex finally cut them all off today.

How do you quantify this?

a YARD of branches/leaves?

(believe me, the actual amt is much more than what the picture shows... )

oh... and do you see the hail that rest on the yard waste bin?

lose the battle!

working from home today with fever, running nose, sneezing, coughing, ear pain, sore throat .. so stuffed all in my face!

hate to be sick!!!

s i c k b u N ! a g a i n ....

the fact that i need to wake up at 530a this morning to take alex to the airport, i woke up N times during the nite... 1 am, 2 am, 230am, 3am, 4am, 5am .. i was already exhausted...

and on the "last" wake up, I found my throat hurting. it is all red - sore throat again! i immediately took vit C, advil, ... hopefully i won't lose the battle this time. can't afford to be sick yet...

tired!!!

haven't mow since last october, so you can imagine how much the grass has grown! Its length has become so intolerable that i had to work on it this evening - it was so tiring !!!!!

rarely look at our backyard, and indeed, found out tonite that the tulips are blooming already. The pansy from last year comes back too !!!

it's coloring some wooden crafts we got from michael's. It's been years since i last do all these water paint coloring - it was fun :) we've got the outdoor paint becuz we are thinking to put these in the front yard with the flowers ...

good food...

we celebrated alex's mom's birthday last nite at cheese cake factory. the food was great - they were all happy. the chicken madeira literally melted in your mouth (though it is chicken breast!), the mediterranean style mahi mahi (with tomato salsa sauce) is so fresh and the grilled skirt steak is just perfect. the mango shake was great too, according to alex's mom. we also had the original style chesse cake to end the dinner. i've always gotten those fancy chesse cake, and it was my first time to try the original style. it was so smooth and light and i love it more than their fancy ones..
